Microwave dryer is the new generation of dryers in which the raw materials are treated for dehydration using microwave radiation in a continuous process. In this process polar molecules of
water with exposure to electromagnetic fields rotate in high frequency. Kinetic energy of the molecules of water in contact with surrounded molecules creates too much heat throughout the
moist body, this phenomenon known as dielectric heating. Microwave dryer is able to quickly and efficiently provide heat in wet objects as a result with controlling the process various products
can be dried by this method. In addition, because of special property microwaves and control of process, product dried by this method can be sterilized.
